The new Hydroelectric power station Sendje will be Equatorial Guinea’s second hydroelectric plant, bringing 200 MW of electricity to the mainland from its location 40 km from the main city of Bata. The huge project is nationally important and high-profile, with the 2012 groundbreaking attended by the president of the country.
Construction is ongoing, in an equatorial climate that can make for challenging work conditions. Hardman’s couplings and easy-to-use installation technology are dramatically speeding construction while adding vital reinforcement strength to a complex and important project that will improve lives.
